Privacy Statement

Thank you for your interest in our website. We take the protection of your privacy very seriously. This document tells you in detail how we handle your data. Collection, processing and use of personal data.

You can visit our web pages without entering any personal data. We do not record any personal data; examples of the sort of data that we do record are: the name of your internet service provider, the web page from which you accessed our web pages, or the name of the file that you requested. We use this data solely to improve our service; it contains no information about your identity. We store personal data only if you offer it voluntarily, for example in the course of a contact request. If you give us data, we use it without your explicit permission only for the purposes for which you gave us the data. When these purposes are fulfilled, your data is locked to prevent further use, and deleted when the relevant rules of tax and commercial law no longer apply, unless you have explicitly given permission for further use of your data.

Use of cookies In order to make visits to our website attractive and enable you to use certain functions, we use so-called cookies on some pages. These are small text files which are stored on your end device. Some of these cookies (so-called session cookies) are deleted at the end of your browser session. Other cookies (so-called persistent cookies) remain on your end device and enable us to recognise your browser when you visit us again. You can set your browser so that you are informed when cookies are set and decide whether to accept them, either from case to case, for certain cases or in general.

Right to information You have the right to obtain information free of charge about the data we store concerning you, and the right to have this data corrected, locked or deleted.

Use of our contact form If you have questions of any sort, you are welcome to contact us using a form which is available on the website. When you do so, we need a valid e-mail address from you so that we know who sent us the question, and can answer it. You are free to enter further data as well. The legal basis of our data processing to enable you to establish contact with us is article 6, section 1, page 1 of the General Data Protection Regulation (in German: Art. 6, Abs. 1 S. 1 lit. a DSGVO) on the basis of the permission you gave us of your own accord. Any personal data which we have obtained to enable you to use the contact form will be deleted automatically when we have finished responding to your enquiry.

Contact person for data protection If you have any questions about collection, processing and use of your personal data, or if you require information, correction, locking or deletion of your data or cancellation of permission that you have given, please contact:

The legal foundation for data processing is article 6, paragraph 1, sections a), b), c) und f) DSGVO. Making data available is not legally mandatory, nor is it mandatory by contract. You are therefore not obligated to provide us with personal data. The use of cookies helps us to improve our website and its user friendliness continually. These aims are also the basis of our authorised interest in processing the data according to article 6, section 1, page f, DSGVO. We point out that by law you have the right to be informed, the right to have corrections made, the right to have deletions made, the right to limit the processing that is done and the right of transferability of data (cf articles 15-18 and article 20 of the DSGVO). If you want to make use of these rights, you can get in touch with us using the contact data on the website. We would also like to point out to you that it is possible to lodge a complaint with the appropriate data protection authority. You can revoke any permission that you have given without affecting the legality of the processing which took place on the basis of that permission before the permission was revoked. As long as there are no relevant retention obligations, whether in commercial or taxation law, your personal data will be deleted. You will receive conformation of this. The contact data of the supervisory authority for data protection and freedom of information are:

Social media plug-ins On our website, we use social plug-ins of the social networks Facebook, Twitter und Instagram, to increase the visibility of our work. The business intention is to be regarded as a justified interest in the sense used in the DSGVO. The provider involved is responsible for running it in accordance with data privacy protection principles. We integrate this plug-in using the so-called two klick method to give visitors to our website the best possible protection.

1) Facebook On our website, we use social media plugins from Facebook in order to make using our website more personal. We do this by using the LIKE or SHARE button offered by Facebook. If you call a page of our website which contains one of these plug-ins, your browser sets up a direct connection with Facebook servers. Facebook then transmits the content of the plugin directly to your browser, which inserts it into the website.

The insertion of the plug-in gives Facebook the information that your browser has called the relevant page of our website, even if you don’t have a Facebook account or are not currently logged into Facebook. This information (including your IP address) is sent from your browser directly to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there.

If you are logged into Facebook, Facebook can connect your visit to our website directly with your Facebook account. If you interact with the plug-ins, for example if you press the “LIKE” or “SHARE” button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a Facebook server and stored there. It is also published on Facebook and shown to your Facebook friends. Facebook can use this information for advertising, market research and appropriate presentation of Facebook pages. For these purposes, Facebook sets up usage, interest and relationship profiles, for example to evaluate your use of our website as regards the advertisements which Facebook displays to you, to tell other Facebook users about your activities on our website and to provide further services connected with the use of Facebook.

If you don’t want Facebook to connect the data which have been gathered via our website with your Facebook account, you must log yourself out of Facebook before visiting our website. For information about the purpose and extent of data collection, how Facebook processes and uses this data and what rights and technical means you have to protect your privacy, please see Facebook’s privacy protection information (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/)
